Opeoluwa Olatunbosun AKINTOLA is a Senior Chief Laboratory Technologist in the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Prevenve Medicine, University of Ilorin with decades of experience in praccal teachings, experimental designs and involvement in research acvies.  His area of interest is praccal teachings in zoonoc diseases surveillance, monitoring and control techniques; as well as safe ulizaon of pescides and inseccide producon. He is involved in the praccal training of students in entrepreneurship skills.

He has worked in the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, University of Ibadan as well as University of Maiduguri and served in various committees such as University of Maiduguri Health Commitee (2005-2007); Educaton Trust Fund Monitoring Commitee (2008-2010).  He also serves as Internal Assessor, University of Ilorin, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Technical Senior Staff Promotion Exercise (2018 to date); and as External Assessor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science Technical Senior Staff Promotion Exercise (2019 to date). He is being acknowledged in students’ project works, dissertations and thesis as well as local and international journals, with five journals co-authored.
