Biography

Yemisi Olukemi ADESIJI, is visiting Professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Ilorin with 21 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

She has served as Head of Department, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, and Faculty Postgraduate Representative. Her areas of research interest cover the Epidemiology of bacterial zoonosis and infection control. She has to her credit over sixty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference  proceedings, and  chapters in books.  She has successfully supervised over 20 Masters dissertations and postgraduate Diploma theses. She has equally won several research grants. Professor Adesiji is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
